Tobias and John hear faint music which sounds like it’s coming from an old gramophone. Too afraid to speak, they cower behind the bed as the door opens with a creak. “David…” John whimpers, “is that you?” A slender shadow is cast across the room, and the scent of perfume fills the air as the music grows louder. Though paralysed in terror, the two men cannot help but be transfixed as she saunters towards them. For she is more beautiful than any woman they ever laid eyes upon, and in that moment the perfection of her form clouds even the most basic instinct of self-preservation. So they can do nothing but stare entranced, at the dance of the vampiress.
