from Face of Camilla by Beautiful Death

about

Hearing the death pangs of his friends amidst the faint music down the hall, David locks himself in a large study, frantically searching for a way out. Finally he gives up, slumping into a worn desk chair as his eyes fall on a dusty leather-bound book upon the table. him lay a book, He opens the first page and reads aloud the faint inscription. ‘Camilla’s Diary’. As he flicks through the pages, a single folded sheet falls to the floor. It’s a letter, handwritten in beautiful cursive script. ‘Camilla my Love,” he reads. “My soul is colder every day we are apart. So cold within me that I do not even remember I am alive. Though what kind of life is outs? I cannot bear to see you. I cannot bear to face the curse I have placed upon you. Eternal love was our destiny, but then I look at you. I look at the woman you used to be, and at the monster you’ve become. A monster just like me. I wish no longer to partake of this wretched life, and tomorrow I will know the sun one last time”. The parting words of the letter were concealed by a smear of blood.
